You dance every day.

How can we integrate dance into our daily lives?

Without going to the theater or learning dance techniques, or boogieing to a top hits playlist, I’m teaching people to recognize the dance in their regular activities.

There’s choreography in the walk from your bed to the kitchen table to your at-home workspace.

Each locale evokes a different use of your mind and body.

I want people to appreciate and acknowledge the art within these moments.

Embodied dancing is about our use of attention, so it doesn’t require proficiency, and it isn’t only for a release at a party, or just for watching trained professionals.

How does it feel to engage with that sense of vulnerability when you see yourself the moment you log into Zoom?

Or when you write an email, and you found just the right words - where in your body does that competency show up?

When you broke your ankle at age 7 - how has the healing from that injury played out in the way you stand and move today?

When a loved one dies, how does our posture, thinking, and perception - hence our connection to the world change?

There’s a story and movement in these places and experiences. This is the power of dance.
